Brakes, suspension, engine diagnostics, and more. We're your one-stop shop for keeping your vehicle running safely on Central Valley roads.
Advanced scan tools and hands-on expertise to pinpoint transmission and electrical issues quickly — saving you time and unnecessary parts.
Buying a used vehicle? We'll inspect the transmission and overall condition so you know exactly what you're getting before you drive away.
Nicks Transmissions is a locally owned and operated shop right here in Los Banos. We know this community — the roads you drive, the work you do, and the reliability your vehicle needs to keep up with it all.
When your transmission acts up, you don't need a chain shop with upsells. You need someone who will look at your problem honestly, explain what's actually wrong, and give you a fair path forward. That's exactly what we do.
In a town where your word and your reputation are everything, we take the approach that if we do right by you, you'll tell your neighbors — and that's the only marketing we need.
We don't guess. We trace the issue methodically so you're never paying for parts that don't need replacing.
No mechanic-speak. We explain what's wrong, what your options are, and what we'd do if it were our own vehicle.
We use reliable parts from trusted suppliers — because a fix that doesn't last is just a second problem waiting to happen.
